Frontrunners & Frontwalkers Phoenix has a long and exciting history. We started our club in the Phoenix Metropolitan area in 1999 with three runners who came together to run once every two weeks. Since then, we have grown substantially and currently have three running and walking activities every week.
Frontrunners & Frontwalkers Phoenix is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization run by a Board of Directors elected by our Members. We are a member of International Front Runners, a consortium of over one-hundred Frontrunner chapters worldwide. Being an IFR member greatly expands our visibility and gives members access to a global network of gay-identified running organizations. We are also a member of Road Runners Club of America who issues our insurance and provides us with governing and running resources.

Aunt Rita's AIDS Walk Arizona 2023
Team Frontrunners & Frontwalkers Phoenix!

For a second year the Frontrunners and Frontwalkers Phoenix put together a team to raise funds and awareness for the Aunt Rita’s AIDS Walk and 5k Run!
Our initial team goal of $2500 was surpassed with a final total of $4175. FRFWPHX ended being the third highest fundraising group not including Aunt Rita's Foundation itself.
A very special shout out goes to our member "Shaggy", Scott Greenberg, who raised the lion-share of our funds. He was the third highest individual fundraiser for the whole event for a second year in a row!
