Runs and Walks and Hikes
We are currently on our Summer Schedule for Saturday runs/walks.
Join us for weekly runs, walks. We meet every Saturday as well as midweek on Tuesdays and Thursdays in and around the Phoenix metro area.
We also have hikes! Once a month we meet for an beginner to intermediate hike in and around the Phoenix metro area.
We welcome people of all running and walking abilities. You do not have to be an accomplished runner to join FRFWPHX. We have all speeds and levels!

Saturdays 7am Summer Schedule (approx. April to October)
Join us for our Saturday Run & Walk on the Murphy Bridle Path on Central Avenue. We meet at the northwest end of the North Phoenix Baptist Church parking lot at 8AM for a one hour run or walk.

Meet and Visit Afterwards: Join us afterwards at 8:30am for brunch or coffee, even if you didn’t run or walk. Every week a local restaurant is selected so the group can eat and drink and socialize. Check the schedule/calendar for the selected restaurant. Note that selected restaurants are subject to change without notice -please contact members on the day to confirm location.

We are currently on our Summer Schedule for Saturday runs/walks.
Join us for our Saturday Run & Walk in Papago Park. We meet at the north end of the Phoenix Zoo parking lot at 8 AM for a one hour run or walk. At the end of Papago Road, turn left; after a small curve to the left, we are at the right side near the north end of the parking lot. Parking is free. Distances include 3 to 6-mile routes, and 2 to 2.5-mile walks. The parking lot address is 455 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008.

Tuesdays @ 6:30pm
Join us for our Tuesday Run/Walks in downtown Phoenix, AZ. We meet at the Margaret T Hance Park parking lot at 6:30 pm for a one-hour run or walk. Parking is free. Distances include 3 to 6-mile routes, and 2 to 2.5-mile walks.

The parking lot address is 67 W Culver St. Phoenix, AZ 85003. Click map below for directions.
Park in the parking lot on the south side of Culver St which is between Central Ave & 3rd Ave. Please note that because of the Valley Metro Light Rail in the middle of the street if you are on Central Ave you can only turn onto Culver St from the southbound Central Ave lanes. Parking is free and the Roosevelt/Central Light Rail station is very close.

at Tempe, AZ
During unexpected special events at Tempe Town Lake and when the Tempe Beach Park parking lot is closed, we have an alternative parking lot located west of Tempe Center for the Arts. This is an unpaved trailhead parking lot. We meet at the edge of the parking lot where the pedestrian/cycle walk follows the Salt River.

Monthly Hikes
Join us for our monthly hikes on one of Phoenix's many outdoor hiking trails. The hikes are designed for beginner to intermediate levels (no rock climbing).
